    2026 Spring Training

    The CSAIA is proud to announce the 2026 Spring Training Conference. The training will be held both in-person and online (virtual option.)  This page is for In-Person registration only. 

    This training is only available to eligible members of CSAIA.  

    Please register as a new/renewing CSAIA member if your membership is expiring prior to the conference start date.  

    This training is POST certified for 25 hours.  BRN credits will be available. 

    CSAIA In-Person 2026 Spring Training will begin Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. and concludes Friday, March 13, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. The following training agenda may be subject to change without notice. 

    Registration:

    Registration for the 2026 Spring Training will be:  $620 for new members, $545 for existing members for in-person training.   The cutoff date for registration will be February 9, 2026, while space is available.    Payment must be received within 60 days of registration, but no later than February 9th to avoid losing your in-person space.   A late registration fee of $75 will be applied to all in-person registrations made after February 9, 2026.

    This conference will include case studies and subject matter experts. A formal agenda will be sent out at a later date.

    Hotel Information:

    Registration for the CSAIA Spring Training does not include hotel reservations. Attendees will need to make their own hotel reservations. 

     The Cliffs Hotel and Spa rooms at the contract rate are full. Overflow rooms at the contract rate of $165 (plus tax and fees) are available at The Inn at the Pier Pismo Beach

    You can only make event discounted hotel reservations by using the link that will be provided to you after your registration is completed.

    The hotel will not make event room reservations over the phone.  

    Attention Training Managers and Attendees:

    Please note that any registration for In-Person training must be paid in full within 60 days of registration but no later than February 9th, 2026.   Those that are not paid will be cancelled and on February 10th, 2026.  Space will be made available to the event waiting list. Please contact the Training Registrar for special arrangements prior to the deadline.

    Checks must be received by February  9th, 2026 unless special arrangements have been made with Training Registrar. 

    Late Registrations / Cancellation Policy:

    Registrations occurring after February 9th, 2026 will be charged a $75.00 late fee.  This fee will not apply to attendees coming from the event waiting list.  

    Members - Full tuition will be refunded prior to February 9th, 2026. Cancellations after February 9th, 2026, but prior to February 16th, 2026 will receive a 50% refund.  No refunds after February 16th, 2026 at 11:59 PM, however another member from your agency may attend in your place but they will be required to pay a $75.00 membership fee (if not a current CSAIA member) to attend.

    Non-Member - Full tuition will be refunded prior to February 9th, 2026. Cancellations after February 9th, 2026, but prior to February 16th, 2026 will receive a 50% refund. No refunds after February 16th, 2026 at 11:59 PM, however another member from your agency may attend in your place but they will be required to pay a $75.00 membership fee (if not a current CSAIA member) to attend. In the event you're unable to send someone in your place, $75.00 of your tuition will provide you with a one-year membership to CSAIA.

    2026 Spring Training (Virtual)

    The CSAIA is proud to announce the 2026 Spring Training Conference. The training will be held both in-person and online (virtual option.)  This page is for Online / Virtual presentation only. 

    This training is only available to eligible members of CSAIA.  Please register as a new/renewing CSAIA member if your membership is expiring prior to the conference start date.  

    The virtual training will be presented in partnership with INSTRUQ, a well-respected virtual training platform commonly utilized by governmental agencies

    This training is POST certified (Post Plan N/A)  for 25 hours.   BRN credits will also be available. 

    POST Certification requires online attendance and completion of an online test or poll during or immediately after training. POST credit will only be given to the individual registered for the training. POST credit will only be given if online attendance is confirmed via the digital platform and the individual completes the required test or poll. 

    Registration:

    Registration for the 2026 Online/Virtual Spring Training will be:  $570 for new members, $495 for existing members for in-person training.   The cutoff date for registration will be March 9th, 2026.   Payment must be received within 60 days of registration, but no later than March 9th.
